Contemporary multimedia options providing almost unlimited options for users and producers of online information. “There are few things in life, personal or professional, that don't require good, effective communication” (Cole, 2007, para. 5).  However, users of new communication media need to develop skills and knowledge applicable to the digital environment to effectively communicate a message.  Additionally, posts that engage audience feedback must be monitored to participate in a productive digital dialogue.  Choices in social media challenge users in any capacity to meet expectations of other online users to publish effective communication that is appealing and concise.  Read-worthy content is clear and concise.  It is interesting visually, including images and infographics to engage readers.  Most importantly, it communicates a message effectively.
